These dolls are inspired by the Miss Columbia Doll exhibited at the 1893 Worlds Fair.
Each doll shown below is made of muslin stuffed with cotton. All are hand painted and numbered. Each has a full set of underpinning, shoes, socks, and a doll stand. Each one is original and has her own personality. A lovely family heirloom.

These dolls are inspired by the Fashion dolls of the early 19th century. Used as dressmaker's examples and advertisements, they usually ended up in the hands of children for toys. Each one of these fashion dolls has a painted porcelain bust, hands, and feet attached to a muslin body. Each has a full set of period underpinning and 19th century period correct fashions.
